Used TaylorMade golf clubs
1979–present · Carlsbad, California
TaylorMade was incorporated in 1979 by Gary Adams, who started in a leased building in McHenry, Illinois, selling one product: a 12-degree stainless steel metalwood at a time when woods were made of persimmon. The company is now based in Carlsbad, California, and Korean private equity firm Centroid Investment Partners agreed to buy it in 2022. Used buyers mostly meet its drivers (M5 and M6, SIM, SIM2, Stealth, Stealth 2, Qi10 and later Qi35 and Qi4D), P-series irons such as the P790 and P770, Milled Grind wedges and Spider putters. Practical note: the P790 name covers more than one version. The 2019 and 2021 P790 share a 30.5-degree 7-iron but differ in construction, and the 2021 has a taller face and thicker topline, so confirm the year rather than assuming.
