Used Wilson golf clubs
1913–present · Chicago, Illinois
Wilson traces back to the Ashland Manufacturing Company, set up in 1913 by the meatpacker Schwarzschild & Sulzberger to make tennis and violin strings and surgical sutures. It is headquartered in Chicago and has been part of Amer Sports since 1989. Its golf history includes the R-90 sand wedge, inspired by Gene Sarazen's 1932 British Open win, and the 8802 putter used by Arnold Palmer and Ben Crenshaw. Used buyers meet Wilson Staff Model blade and CB irons, Dynapower drivers and fairway woods, and the Launch Pad range. Practical note: Launch Pad is built to fight a slice. Golf Monthly reports the 2022 Launch Pad driver sits closed, has heel-side weighting and a lie two degrees upright, which suits slicers more than golfers who already draw the ball.
