The RTX ZipCore was Cleveland's tour-shape blade wedge for 2020, on sale August 14, 2020, following the RTX-4 from 2018. The name comes from a low-density core in the hosel area that frees up weight to move the center of gravity toward the middle of the face and raise MOI, inside a traditional 8620 carbon steel head. Its UltiZip grooves were, by Cleveland's numbers, sharper, deeper and closer together than the Rotex-era grooves before them, and heat treated to hold their edges. Lofts run 46 to 62 degrees across three sole grinds: Mid (46 to 60, a V-shaped sole with trailing-edge relief), Low (56 to 62, a C-shaped low-bounce sole with heel, toe and trailing-edge relief) and Full (54 to 60, the most bounce). Stock shaft is True Temper Dynamic Gold Spinner Tour Issue, and Tour Satin was the launch finish with more added later. The RTX 6 ZipCore replaced it in early 2023 with two extra grooves, more face texture and loft-specific face blasting, while the cavity-back CBX ZipCore was the forgiving sibling for mid to high handicaps. Used, the RTX ZipCore suits low to mid handicaps who want a compact wedge; just make sure the listing is not an RTX 6, RTX-4 or CBX.

⚠What to verify before you buy
Confirm the head says RTX ZipCore with no 6, because RTX 6 ZipCore listings often drop the number and the two look similar from the back.
Rule out the CBX ZipCore, which is the larger cavity-back version, and the RTX Full-Face, which has grooves running across the whole face.
Check that the grind fits the loft: Mid exists from 46 to 60, Low only from 56 to 62, and Full only from 54 to 60.
Zoom in on the strike area for sharp UltiZip groove edges and visible face texture, since a polished patch in the center means the spin advantage has worn off.
Treat light rust on a raw finish as cosmetic but walk away from pitting in the grooves or rust under a peeling finish.
Check for the stock Dynamic Gold Spinner Tour Issue shaft or note the replacement, and make sure the shaft is straight at the hosel.
Look for deep dings on the leading edge and sole, which change how the bounce plays.
About 88 RTX ZipCores are listed, and most complete wedges ask $75–95 delivered. It dates from 2020, so groove condition is the main thing to judge: ask for a close face photo and look for sharp UltiZip edges and face texture in the strike area, not a polished patch. Check the grind fits the loft (Mid from 46 to 60, Low only 56 to 62, Full only 54 to 60) and make sure the head isn't an RTX 6 ZipCore or the cavity-back CBX ZipCore. Skip asks well over the band without a stated reason.

Our take
A 60° Low grind (a valid loft for it) with the Spinner Tour Issue shaft, about $75 delivered as a no-bid auction ending around Oct 11; the price will likely climb.
What a used club of this type usually needs. Plain Amazon searches: we earn nothing from them.
Groove brush and towel
Dirt packed in the grooves costs spin more than a little wear does. A stiff brush and a damp towel after each shot keep a used wedge or iron set playing at its best.
Most used clubs arrive on the last owner's grips. If they are shiny, cracked or slick, regripping is the cheapest way to make a used club feel new. Match the grip size to your hands, not to what came off.
Stickers on the face show where you strike it. A few range sessions tell you whether the used head, loft and lie suit your swing while you can still resell it.
